Keep data secure

Just sending a file from one device to another or making a copy. Via an external hard drive, the cloud or your email. Easy as pie. But where did you store that file? And where is that USB stick? While it’s easy to save something, it’s just as easy for it to be lost or get infected.

Make sure your stored data doesn't turn into drift data.

Storing data in the cloud, on a hard drive or USB flash drive makes it less clear where your data all resides. In addition, many places are not as secure.

It is safer to store data in and central, well-secured place. By giving others access to that central location, you know who can access your data. And it prevents your data from floating around in your email, other people's email and in other places.

When in doubt: don't email, share!
